    Why is it..............................................................

    Why is it that whenever I try 2 get a hrs sleep, jus 1 friggin hr, the whole world nd his dog want t make loadsa noise.
     
    I'm not sleepin very well of late nd can sumtimes get very tired in the aftanoon, which is 2 be expected, wudn't u say, so I'm sittin in my bedroom browsin the internet on my laptop, feelin very tired  nd I fall asleep.  Wen all of a sudden the house , which has bin really quiet most of the day, erupts into a den of uncalled 4 noise.  All the kids decide 2 cum in at the same time.  Y wen it's so nice outside nd they've bin stuck in 4 days I'll neva know.  But not only do they cum in but they slam all the doors behind them, go each seperately into their own room, 3 of them nd decide that they all want 2 listen to music.  Now can u imagine 3 teenagers, with very different tastes in music, all blaring it out at the same time.  Then hubby decides he wants 2 clean the kitchen, which don't get me wrong is very nice of him, but it's right underneath our bedroom, nd he's not the quietest of people especially wen emptying the dishwasher. 
     
    So I go out onto the landing, ask all the kids 2 turn it down a little nd shut their doors.  I return to my room, close the door nd am jus noddin off agen wen hubby decides to cum nd tell the kids off 4 waking me up and proceeds to shout at them about how inconsiderate they r, nd he's doin this rite outside our door.  'Oh 4 God's sake I mumble 2 myself'.  10 mins lata all is quiet agen nd I try 2 doze off wen low nd behold next door decide to cut the lawn nd they ave 1 of those large, very loud petrol mowers. 
     
    I give up, I'm wide awake agen now so wot's the point, nd 2 top it all I now ave a headache. 
     
    So anyway why is it that weneva he's asleep I warn every 1 2 be quiet b 4 hand nd they all do exactly that.  Even if he's on the sofa in every 1's way.  We all quietly leave, shut the door behind us nd leave im 2 it.

    The healing journey of my tattoo

       001 This is wot my tattoo luked like before I got it redun.  As u can c it's not very gud.  It's faded a lot nd has only been dun for about a yr.  This is wot happens wen u don't choose u're tattooist carefully nd jus want 2 get it dun cheap.  This cost me £20.  As they say ya get wot ya pay 4, nd I ave paid dearly 4 this.  I woz told b4 I ad it dun that tattooing on u're feet really hurt.  I consider myself to ave quite a high pain threshold but this nearly ad me in tears.  I now know y.  Cheap tattoo gun, no antiseptic wipes n wrong needles for the work in hand. 
     
    Now on Thursday I decided to take the step of getting it redun, as I am off 2 Florida in 7 wks nd as u can imagine it's goin 2 b really hot flip flop weather nd I don't want my feet lukin shabby.  Now not only woz it embarrassing to admit that ya'd gone 2 sumone jus 2 get a cheap job but I also ad to endure the pain again, or so I thought.  Also many tattooists will not go ova sumone else's work.  I woz lucky enuf 2 find sumone that wud.  So I went ahead nd had it dun.  This is wot it luked like yesterday about 2 hrs after it woz finished nd it cost me another £50 2 get it put right.
     
    Day 1 - Thurs 1st May 2008
     
    my tattoo's 001my tattoo's 003 Wow, luks wicked.  I'm really plsd wit it now.  The colours r much brighter and completely covered as the big star is covering an old tattoo that I ad got bored of.  It woz visible b4 altho u can't c this on the first photo.  Also several more swirls ave bin added giving it that finishing touch.  Also the pain woz no where near as bad as the first time and this artist completed the work much quicker.  It took about 40 mins.
     
    Day 2 - Friday 2nd May 2008
     
    001005 Wen compared together the b4 nd afta pics make it very clear how much betta it is now.  I'm luvin it.
     004006002 (2)001 (3) Today after showering nd washing it with a soft flannel nd soapy water it's still lukin gud, altho very swollen.  I've applied vaseline to it, as I ave wit all my other tattoo's to soften the scabbin, uuuurrrrrrgggggghhhhhh, which, actually there is not much of at all.  My foot is very swollen today tho and feels tight.  Apparently this is quite normal especially on the feet nd my feet r prone to swelling anyway.  I'm still really plsd wit it nd can't wait 2 show it off.  Jus need 2 keep applying the vaseline now or may get sum bepanthan which I ave used b4.  It's actually nappy rash cream but is very gud 4 tattoo care.    Oooooooohhhhhh that ankle luks swollen.   Jus 2 give u an idea of how swollen my right foot is ere is a pic of my left foot which is next on my list t get redun as this 2 is faded.  I must b a gluten 4 punishment.
     002 (3)002 No swelling at all ere.  Wen I get this 1 redun I'm thinkin of goin higher up my leg, maybe all the way to the top.  Ova the next wk or so I will add 2 this blog in order to follow the progression of it's healin.  Thank u 4 readin, if u actually managed 2 get this far witout gettin 2 bored, doin it amused me 4 for a gud hr.  Stay tuned 4 the next lot of pics.  Hopefully the swellin will ave gone down a bit by then. 

    Day 7 - 8th May   08

    Still a bit swollen.  Very itchy.  It's hard not to scratch it but I shouldn't as this will obviously fetch the scabs off and could pull some of the colour out.  It's lukin really gud.  Good job the weather has been nice as I need to wear flip flops while it is healing so as not to rub it.  Can't get most of my shoes on because of the swelling anyway.
